Now I lay me down to sleep...

We've worked to make Savannah's room to be as pretty as she will be. Mommy searched hundreds of types of bedding and decor and finally found one with the pretty baby girl colors that Savannah deserves. Daddy picked the paint colors and did such a wonderful job transforming a normal room into a little lavender paradise for our sweet little girl.

It all began with dark neutral walls and white ceiling. After Daddy applied a light shade of lavender to the ceiling and a color called "Fantsy Pantsy" to the walls it all started coming together. Bedding and decor that has pale yellow, greens, purples, pinks, and a little splash of blue looks nice with the all white furniture.

We've still got a few finishing touches to add like the window treatment and her name in white letters that will go above her bed.

For now, Mommy enjoys just walking in there and thinking, dreaming. It's exactly what she imagined for her little girl. Thanks to Daddy for all the hard work he's put into making it so beautiful.

Our first glimpse

Our sweet Savannah Grace is due to arrive in a few short weeks. We've anticipated getting to see what she would look like for months now. Will she have mommy's blue eyes? Will she have her daddy's nose?

We've been blessed to see her sweet profile several times throughout the pregnancy, but on 9-16-09 we caught our first glimpse of her precious little features.
We can't wait to see her in person and kiss those baby lips, look into those sweet little eyes, and tickle that nose.
